Molly’s RDV imprint returns this December with a new EP from London’s Wbeeza, the three-track project is entitled ‘What You Need’.
London’s Wbeeza has long been at the forefront of the house sound of the UK capital, delivering his raw and robust twist on the genre via labels such as Third Ear, Secretsundaze, his own pFlymusic and Moscow club Arma17’s own Arma imprint. Here though Wbeeza joins the roster of Molly’s RDV Music, perfectly aligning him in the catalogue alongside the likes of Dana Ruh, Aybee, Orion and of course Molly herself.
Up first on the package is ‘I Got You ft. D.Ham’ and in true Wbeeza fashion we’re treated to soul-infused playful house sounds via chopped spoken word vocal from D.Ham, an amalgamation of cut up keys, horns and bass grooves while intricately programmed jazzy drums further fuel the organic, jam session feel. ‘505 / 8 Track’ follows as the A2, laying down a snaking bass line, popping kick, tension building hiss and murky synth modulations for a more loop driven tool aesthetic.
On the flip-side Wbeeza returns to classic house feels via dusty piano stabs, gritty shuffled hats and winding subs alongside ethereal chord sequences, bright strings and the classic soulful musings of Alice Russell throughout.

for my very talented friends, artists I really like, and also music from myself. It was not until now that it felt like the appropriate time to realize it, but I feel ready now to help push new talent & music from people I love.” - Molly...more
